B.K. Froman is an educator and an author. She first fell into a love/hate relationship with Change in college, researching and defending her thesis on Strong Families in Crises. Smugly thinking an advanced degree equipped her to deal with people and the future, she was soon re-educated by family, conflicts, deaths and two recessions. Trying to understand the alleged magic everyone said comes with transition, (rather than loss and tragedy) she did more research, seeking out stories of courage and resilience in studies, journals, books, movies, and in the words of her family and friends.
